I jsut submitted an app for the Penfed VISA Signature and got this message:

Your application has been referred to a Loan Officer. 

Is this normal? Is this a denial?

Should I call?

Normal. Just means manual review. Just keep checking status. You should see something soon.

That happened to me and I was approved for two cards!

I would call and talk to them. It always helped me.

Normal. Happened to me as well. Got an approval an hour later. Like baller said, just keep checking the status.

So I got back from dinner, signed onto my account to check on the status of my CC app, Turned Down.  So I called their 800-247-5626 number and spoke to a CSR.  CSR saidit was declined due to my EQ score and my CH7 BK.  I asked if I can recon, he said it would have to b emailed with my signature stating my reasons for recon.  He gave me the email address to send my recon to.  

I will send tomorrow and update everyone.
