Penfed CLI request

Hi guys, I applied for two credit cards from penfed back in November 2014 and you may know Penfed uses the same CR within 90 days of the first application. I'd like to know if someone has asked for CL within that time frame. My score has gone up since November but don't want to burn a HP. I see a link under my acount to increase it. Have someone has got the increase instantly or goes to manual review or does it have to be pre-approval. Any information will be appriciated.

I'd use the card for 6 months and pay it back on time etc before spooking PenFed and asking for a CLI

I know under my card there is a link online to request an increase but I never used it.

I thought about the same thing. I called the rep about increasing my limit and she told me it was best to wait for a quarterly review that they will inform me if I am eligible

I just did this last week. A applied for the penfed defender card the first week of December and got a $1500 limit.

After that I got an auto refinance loan with them and opened about 4 more cards. My scores have dropped as result.

I decided to take a shot at a cli while they are using the same report- I was approved after it was under review last week for a 10,000 limit. And yes it shows on my account now.

I will say that I used the card allot and pif several times - about every 2 weeks during that short time. I did it the day after the 2nd statement closed(with a -$28 balance)

The 4 more cards was with diffrent lenders, not penfed.

*UPDATE* I did CLI and they only gave me a 2k more on my Amex and denied for the Promise one. I was planning making another request before my 90 days hit. Sometimes I feel by doing the manuel review I get less than waiting for my quarter review.
