Penfed Membership

Good Evening All,

Quick question. I know Penfed will hp Equifax for membership and will use the same pull for 90 days for other applications. My question is can you apply for multiple products using the same pull. IE, can you app for a credit card and line of credit using the same pull? Or would it be two seperate pulls?

Thanks.

@dbw79,

It will be the same pull for all products.  So just 1 inquiry on your report within the 90 days.

Re: Penfed Membership

Excellent. Much appreciated. They don't like many new accounts thought, right?

@dbw79,

They are very conservative.  I had 2 new accounts reporting when I applied for the PLOC and credit card.  I think they take that into consideration + your entire credit profile...

Re: Penfed Membership

What time frame is considered a new account with Penfed? Within the past 12 months?

What scores are they looking for? I'm really interested in joining them, if I think I'll possibly get a high limit credit card and possibly refinance my car loan.

What do they look for?
