I called to recon my denial from earlier this week and was shot down.  The survey popped up in email and I left them have it.

I recieved a call from PENFED later on and the nice lady aboved it for 5k. I know the APR is high, but I know it will come down after a CLI in 6 months or a year.

Yes they do! I hope to use them for a mortgage in 2018. I hope to see a decent CLI in the near future.

When I fill out my PenFed survey someday I'm going to give them Ballerina's information so they can send her "Pimping Out PenFed" commission checks.

P.S Ballerina, because you said something yesterday about how anyone can get into NFCU now I spent hours reading and whamo deep CIA undercover way to get in. I never thought I could be like all the other cool credit boys and girls unless I could get into the Everest of credit unions in NFCU. Thanks for being MF OCD. :d

I know I know. I read both threads cover to cover last night on that whole San Diego trick fiasco.

My TU is squeaky clean, but I heard NFCU is HP crazy.

To open a savings account/membership with them it's ONE Transunion HP correct?

Then it's an HP Equifax pull for EVERY product you apply for with them correct?

Ballerina, since my EQ won't be clean until Dec. 1st and I won't app with NFCU or PenFed until I'm credit clean. Would you recommend I go apply with NFCU this week (Killeen, TX branch is like a 2 hour RT drive from me)?
