Thinking about apping for one of the cards and an auto re-fi.  I'm sure it's in this thread but what bureau do they pull?  I've got 753 ex / and low-mid 700's on tu/eq.  30% util.  What kind of limits are propl getting with those numbers and what type of auto re-fi %?

My scores are pretty similar to yours. I joined Penfed about 1 month ago and got the Rewards card $11,500, Am Ex $22,000, and last week a $34,500  car (you can get a new car rate with a 2015 or better) refi for 1.99.  All this with one pull.  My util. is 6%. But my inqs. are ridiculous.  Penfed has been good to me.

I did try to recon my Rewards limit to match my Am Ex, but they said show some payment history firstSmiley Happy

Re: Pentagon Federal Credit Union Data Share

thanks for the feedback, I'vegot a 2015 but at 5.9%, would love to save 4%!  My util is higher but not terrible, and my balance is at 0%.  So did you app for both those cards and did the 3 new accounts hurt your AAoA?

Am I correct they only do 1 hp for both accounts? Credit card and auto refi?

Yes. 1 hp good for any product for 90 days.

My AAoA is not great so I didn't really see any effect with that. My scores actually went up 10 points when the car loan hit. I will probably lose them when Chase reports the 1st loan as PIF.  My payment is $80 less a month and I'm saving THOUSANDS over the course of the loan.

The whole process was painless. I did right over the phone, took 20 mins. I had the check in hand in 4 days. Went to Chase with check and paid the car off. The hardest part about it is getting the title sent to the new lienholder.

See, I'm applying in a few months for a mortgage and am afraid that this could hurt my score, then again, another credit card would help keep util at around 20%
