For me it is just the APR of the card

So, I finally received pre-approved offers from Penfed, but I think I'm going to just let them pass. I've been a member since July 2017 when I signed up and re-financed my auto loan through them. I've since paid off that loan and have a new loan through another bank. I'm not sure when the offers showed up, but I noticed them today when I logged in. Does anyone know when they expire? Looks like $15k across the board on all of their rewards credit cards, as well as new and used auto/boat/RV loans. Interest rate on all cards shows up as 16.74%, which is towards the top end of their range. Interest on loans is 6.15%, which isn't terrible for a boat loan, which I have been casually looking at. For another DP, I did apply with them for my recent vehicle purchase, but decided to go with another bank for a .2% discount on the rate. Another question on these...do they do a hard pull if you accept?

Joined yesterday and applied for the Pathfinder card. Went to review. Later declined. Reason: many new accounts, short credit history. I had opened two cards last 2 months, Discover and Bank of America. I don't know what they pulled but Credit Karma shows EQ 721, TU 741. No bad stuff at all. My current cards:
Discover It $8500 (opened 2 months ago)
Bank of America $3500 (1 month ago)
The rest are at least over a year ago:
Chase FU $7000
Citi DC $7500
Discover Miles $4300
FNBO Travelite $4800
FNBO Visa $1000 ( oldest 2.8 years)
AAoA 1.3 years.
Inquires EQ 7-8, 3 this year.
Should I recon?
I think it was the AAoA that got you, at 1.3 years. You can try to recon (you should get a survey email where you can ask for a recon), but I'd recommend you go into the garden for at least six months (preferably more) to get your AAoA up and put usage/payment history on your existing cards.
Update. Tried to log in today. It said account locked. Called customers service. They said the account was blocked and i need to send notarized copies of my ID, SS card and utility bill. I told them i can do it in September. Didn't know it's such a pain to join PenFed. Angry.

Penfed requires that your EQ9 score is 650 or greater before approval on a credit product. Credit Karma does not provide you with that score but a Vantage score. If you want to know what your real fico score is, you have to purchase it from fico or cct (credit check total). Or since you just got a denial, they will mail it to you in the denial letter. You don't want to waste hard pulls without knowing what a credit issuers' requirements are.

Just wanted to verify whether Penfed is continuing to keep HP's active for 90 days so that they can be reused during that period. The HP they did 2 months ago for my last CLI attempt is still up, and if they'll re-use it I'm thinking of giving it another shot before it expires.

There has been mixed reports some say 90 others have said CSRs stated 30 days. My experience as of July is that the 90 day HP is still active as I opened my accounts and CC in May and they used the same HP the end of July for a small personal loan.
As noted in another thread, CSR's, being CSR's, are often wrong. My current HP is a bit under 60 days old so if I decide to take the chance I should do so before the end of September.
