Hi everyone,

I just applied for a PenFed cash Cc and I received a notice that my application is pending and I have to upload documents. Proof of address, picture ID, and SS card. I just uploaded everything but I'm guessing they're closed because it's the weekend. What do you think my approval odds are?

New accounts 12 months: 5

Eq Fico: 725

Util: 2%
AAOA: 1yr2mo

Derog: 0

I'd say your odds are pretty good, your numbers look as good as or better than mine and I was just approved on Thursday.

Not sure if you were asking me, but I was approved for $6,000, and yes, the approval was "instant" (more like 30-seconds really); considering my Chapter 13 was discharged a year ago last week, I am totally satisfied with that amount, heck, I would have been happy with half that.

Just opened an account for the 5 $ savings and opened a checking account with 25$ plan to fund it with 500$ for the extra card benefits and to have a rainy day fund. Applied for the Power Cash Rewards and was instantly approved for $5,000 limit which made it a signature.

I want to raise the limit on this card and apply for a second one but I am willing to wait. Is it best to wait for 90 days to ask for cli and 2nd card like NFCU or will your limits and approvals odds increase if you wait 180 days?
