As many old-timers already know and some newcomers have recently discovered, solicitation isn't allowed on myFICO. This includes asking for or offering invites for the X1 card. Right now, we're spending quite a bit of time on this... time that could be spent on other more useful things.
I'm aware that not everybody is well-versed on the myFICO Terms of Service, and that's OK... just be aware that it does exist, and it does prohibit solicitation (including asking for or offering invites, referral links, links to personal websites, etc., you get the idea). We're not trying to be difficult, but we have to enforce the rules. The attorneys on the myFICO legal team are very pleasant, but they are absolutely humorless when it comes to this.
We're about to start dealing with X1 invite related transgressions a bit more firmly. It's no secret that some are taking an "it's easier to get forgiveness than permission" approach, but from here on out we're likely to take action on a first offense - this is the warning. I know that's lousy, but it's also lousy for us to be spending our own time on the same issue repeatedly.
