so. I applied for amex green charge card.... And they said 14 days for a decesion , I called recon line and they told me that I shouldn't call them since my app is pending and hasn't been denied , they're having trouble pulling credit score / report ???  ...  

I believe I have 6 months history since I have 3 scores I have Experian at 706 

27 k income 

2 credit cards 2,300 combined limit I have missed no payments. I also have a car loan.. No missing payment in that as well.

AM I GOOD OR NO I want amex bad.

I think you have a shot at it. Amex has been know to go for thin clean files at times. I think Discover might be worth a shot as well. I know the waiting part sucks. I'm 4 days into waiting on a Chase app for the United Explorer card. I just managed to get in with Amex on a BCE about a week ago but they let me know how I just made it in with a 1K SL and highest rate after the promo APR. Good luck. Got my fingers crossed for you.

Welcome to the board.  Amexs likes thin files.  Since you haven't been denied, it looks like you may be approved.  No one on here can say for sure.  Just be patient and wait as I know that can be hard.

Keep us posted on results.

Wish you would have applied for the PRG first. This way you'd get 50k MR bonus (assuming u could spend 1k in 90 days) then on month 13 after AF hits go for retention offer or downgrade to green and get partial refund.

The underwriting for the PRG is the same as the Green I believe.  You could possibly still go and apply for this today under the same inquiry too. And just back out of the green card after PRG approval.
