Hello all,
Question for the knowledgable in this area
I just wasted a pull on the premium rewards card I should have known better was at 10/12 or something like that. So now wanting to utilize the pull for not another credit product but a cli on my cash rewards but I don't have the blue hyperlink present.
Would it be possible to call into customer service and make the request? I do know the pull is good for 30 days.
Yes. People have called in and been successful requesting a CLI without having the 'request a credit limit increase' hyperlink showing online.
I can't predict the likelihood of success, but it is > 0.
thanks for this @coldfusion
I am actually on the line now with BOA for a reconsideration attempt.as we speak. I will keep you posted.
Good luck!
No go on the reconsideration. Too many recent accounts opened as expected. This is even with assests and a decent length in relationship with them. (Another dp to use) But I will contact cs regarding a incresse. Might as well try to get something out of it lol!
Agree - you've already taken the hit so you have nothing to lose other than the time spent on the phone.
Got 5-7 business day snail mail for that cli request. I know this could go either way. Your thoughts @coldfusion
You really can't tell, as a BoA 5-7 business/7-10 calendar day response can also mean more eyeballs on the request and I know from experience that it doesn't mean a denial, ever since I reached about $85K in CL all my requests went to 7-10 day status and were ultimately approved.

Indeed...will just wait it out and report back later. Thanks again!
Sorry for your premium rewards denial
Good Luck on your CLI !
