Just wait for the letter.  Comenity reps are know to not give any informaiton until you have received the letter.  More than like it is verification.

Thank you for the wealth of knowledge I have learned from these forums. I am logging off as of November 9, 2022. I wish everyone great success.

Ok. But if it is a denial, do they do recons?

No Comenity does not do recons.

Re: Pottery Barn 7-10 day message.,.

They will not budge or do anything until you recieve the letter, but there is no recon with them. The only hope is that the letter may be a "verification" letter in which case you call and verify some info and may still be approved.

But if declined, yeah, you just have to wait and try again later. I believe they "suggest" 45 days which means it's probably auto declined if you try any sooner. They are very automated, and seem to have little power in doing anything manually (i.e. recon CLIs or recon approval etc).

To ease the wait though there is one neat Comenity feature: you can create a login for your Pottery Barn card without having the card. If you were approved, then it will allow you to set up the login with your SSN. If it bounces you back and won't let you log in, you were either declined or need verification. Good luck. Just click "sign up" for the online access center and hit "no" when it asks if you have your card. If you fill in your info and are able to log in you'll see your limit etc.

Crap it looks like I"m either declined or they need verification. It isn't letting me set up online access. Smiley Sad Does anyone know which bureau they typically pull? Also, are they hard to get approved for? Thanks!

I think usually EX or EQ depending on your area. I cannot imagine this card should be that difficult to get approved for, and comenity is generally relatively easy to get in with but I will note their "generous CLI" reputation has not panned out with me and my BJ's card!

On my Comenity accounts where HP were done, they used Equifax.
