Logged into Chase today, to actually bypass a $3 fee that USB imposes on outbound transfers, so I hope pulling it from Chase does the trick.
Anyhoo while there I notices meggages at the top like usaul Covid and app related, but there was an extra one for cards to suit my needs. lol
So when I clicked onto it several showed up, the ones I don't have, and the one that was actually Pre-Approved w/green star was the SW card.
Between this and the Penfed offer I'm a bit on the oh wow cool, but it seems they're coming in at the wrong timing.
TBH I wasn't expecting anymore offers from Chase, considering I already have two one with a balance and only had since July 19.
Also don't even know where I'm at regarding 5/24.
I just had this pop in my account a day or 2 ago for the SW card as well. I have no need for it, though.
I've mentioned in other threads that I'm waiting for pre-approvals to show up in my account again, so I'm hoping more come my way now that this popped. I'm currently 5/24 and will be 4/24 this month, and I have been waiting until August to apply for a CFU. I would feel at ease seeing the green check with it!

For the past 3 months I've had the Already Approved green check for the SW and it finally disappeared a couple days ago. I may have done a little jig when it vanished as I have absolutely zero use for it. This month marks the 1 year anniversary for my CSP so I'm hoping that its a sign that Chase will move on to offering up something else.
It's one thing I like about these forums - seeing how things seem to cycle sometimes. And depending on someone's situation, the appearance of an opportunity is a good sign; while that opportunity vanishing is a plus for someone else.
I have no need for the SW card either, so this one was an easy pass. TBH, I'm not sure about another Chase CC product for the time being. At least not until things settle down.
I never really paid much attention to the checkmarks/stars for the whole time I had the CSP, until i found out about it here. Then I did check if i had any offers every now and then when paying the bill. It didin't happen until a few months after I opened a checking account and got one for the FU, then again this SW offer one a year later. So they must like a year between account openings, at least in my case/profile.
My balance was never higher than $2,500 during that year, but since I had 0% APR I wasn't in a hurry to PIF. The last few months it's been riding around $1,100 give or take $100 with current spend and large payments. The 0% runs out in November so I'll start my aggressive paydown strategy next month so that it's zero by Oct. So I'm unsure if this activity had anything to do with the offer or not.
Well, happy day! It's a week and 1 day since I went to 4/24, and just today, the CFU appeared as a green pre-approval along with the lingering SW. It might be my day to apply!

So i was a bit surprised today when I got a preapproved offer via email for this card, I figured once I didn't respond/apply for it under the green checkmark it would just go away until the next cycle of offers. I honestly don't know what I'm doing to get an offer, because It's not like I've been using Chase much due to everything going on. Just slowly paying my FU balance down before the 0% runs out in Nov.
And the SW no less, this is the second offer for this product in the same month. And it almost kills me that I have no use for it and being pre-approved over 5/24. lol
I just hope they're this nice when my eligibitly for the Marriott card rolls around.
Being a traveler that flies SouthWest and their cardholder, it's pretty darn handy!
For what it's worth....using their rewards to book flights is easy, flexible and earning ratios are pretty good too. They just announced some new bonuses for existing cardholders so I was happy that too.
Congrats on the prequal. For US Bank, I use zelle to transfer to myself between banks.
