If you want the Freedom in its current form then I would try to get it now as it wil be replaced later this month by the new Freedom Unlimited which will have a different reward earning structure.
BCE and BCP are my preferred choice but I would like to get a good Visa card with a decent credit line (to using where Amex is not accepted ),
maybe is better to try before with chase freedom because 5/24), and then I could apply for a BCE or BCP.
I am thinking that maybe I should consider another good visa card that has good credit line at start with good chance to increase in the next 6 months..

This 100% not true, it is not being replaced whatsoever.
The Freedom Unlimited is a separate product, not a replacement. Chase has stated this very clearly.

Yes, the Freedom Unlimited is a separate card but the existing Freedom will not be available to new applicants so yes the Freedom Unlimited is a replacement for anyone applying for a Freedom so my statement is 100% true.
Those with the current Freedom will be able to keep the card as is or PC it to the FU but the OP doesn't have the card yet so that doesn't matter.

Irish I'm sorry but you are completely mistaken. Chase had stated very very clearly that the regular Freedom card is not going away, nor is it being replaced by the new additional product called Freedom Unlimited.

Unless you have newer information than 2 days ago that Chase changed their minds, i hate to say it but you are grossly mistaken by thinking that the original Freedom product would go away.

^this^ if you can get Freedom now it will be very useful later in combination with CSP. (5% categories) But do not app for CSP at the moment and get in with a "starter" card with Chase like the Freedom which probably will run out soon if rumors are correct. Once you have a longer history, higher limits and most important are outside the 5/24 rule then apply for CSP.

I stand corrected. I had not seen this statement.
