I'd wait till it reports, it's only a couple of days. When you see new balance reflected on EX, go for it.

I'm unclear where you got that from. OP stated they paid $40K in debt, which is quite remarkable achievement.
They never stated $40K was on this card.
The credit limit for the HSN Card is $800. My wife shops on it. I don't. I don't remember why I got it; I probably shouldn't have gotten it.
I paid off $40,000 in total debt.

ohhh, ok. i somehow missed an entire page of posts in which you talked about high util, which i assume is the hsn card.
I maxed out on the HSN card for years! More than maxed out sometimes......
