In my experience this is what i've seen.
I am in the MidWest, and Discover and Chase both Soft me thru Experian.
I just want to make sure because from what I have read the identifying information has to be exactly the same on the prequalifier app as in the report that the soft pull pertains to. Is this correct?
My PO Box reads funny...
instead of: PO Box ###, city, state, zip on my TU report it reads: ### PO Box, city, state, zip
All 3 of my reports list my address completely different than one another.

Don't focus so much on whether you're 'pre approved' or not. It doesn't mean you'll be approved and the vast majority of approvals here don't show up on the preapproval sites. If your score and credit file justify an approval, just apply.

Oh no.... What I was looking for and the moral behind the story is I was trying to find out what creditor soft pulled what report so that I make sure the information matches correctly during my prequalified checker.... and for me it did matter. So much so the difference between the way my address was configured on my report was a matter of being prequalified and not prequalified. Also, from what I learned on here that the Chase prequalifier is pretty solid, so if I am prequalified for the Chase card I was looking for that chances actually are pretty darn good that it WOULD be an approval. I would rather not just cold app, but thanks for sharing.
