Pretty new to CC wondering how long to wait to app for #2

Hey everyone first post on here. I've been reading all over this site trying to gain as much information as possible over the past few weeks. I've been rebuilding my credit for the past 7 months, taking care of medical collections. I was approved for Cap 1 platinum with the starter limit of 300 on Feb 11. Extremely grateful for that by the way. Anyway my question is how long would you wait to apply for another card? I've prequalified for Discover IT and Chrome.  Just not sure if it's to soon.  My TU FICO is 695 EQ 657 and EX hasn't given me a score yet cause my auto loan only reports to TU and EQ. Hoping after second CC payment EX can generate a score. Any help or advice is greatly appreciated

If you can get a Discover card, I would go for it. JMHO

Thanks for the reply. From what I've read on here Discovers prequals are usually pretty solid. Thinking I'll give it a go. Thanks again
