Previous History w/ Chase, should I apply for CSR to hit March Deadline?

Hi everyone, new to the forum here.

I had great credit for years, then went through a bad divorce that wrecked it a bit 3 years ago (Multiple lates for car loan, mortgage, & student loans, one charge off with Capital One). I never filed for chapter 7 and got everything back on track, even getting married again (much happier now!).

I still have about 50k in student loans. Everything's been on time the last year and a half. I also have:

Discover IT(1250k)

Merrick Bank(1400k)

Capital One BuyPower(750k)

Amex SPG(10k)<-just got this last week

Credit Scores before the Amex card:

FAKO TU 776

FAKO EQ 707

Discover FICO 710

Merrick Bank FICO 700

I have 15 years of credit history and had previous (3)Chase cards on my report that had perfect history which i closed out in the past. Unfortunately, I also had a Chase auto loan that has 6 late payments(*paid off 2 years ago).

My income is 120K/yr and my Wife is 98K. I didn't want to miss out on the 100K points signup, what do you guys think? Should I apply and risk the hard pull? How much do you think the auto loan late payments affects me for this? or go for an entry level Chase card instead and try to get back into their good graces?

Food for thought.  I am just shy of 3 years since my BK discharge.  I had a Chase charge off for ~$16,000 from a credit card in 2010.  My current stats are 22% util and 694 EX according to CCT.  I just reconned a Marriott app and was able to get approved for $5,000.  I'd imagine that the CSR UW is a bit more stringent than the Marriott due to the required 10k min.  Income on the app was just shy of $100k.  Be prepared to recon just in case and good luck.

You would have to go into a branch anyway, so just visit a branch to see what/if you are prequalified.

I live in Massachusetts, where there aren't any branches =(   I will be in Bloomington, IN during the first week of March, where thhere is a branch. What if I am not prequalified? You think it is worth a hard pull?

You might have a chance - I assume that, even though you had some lates on your car loan, that it was paid off, correct?

Chase does have a LONG memory, or so it seems, if you owed them money, but, it looks like you didn't owe them anything....

NFCU $60.4k/PenFed $22.5k/Commerce $15K/53 $11K/Synovus $14K/BBT $11K/CapOne $12K/DCU $7.5K/BMO $7.5K/Chase $14.5k/Cabelas $10K/ and many many more!
Total CL $398600, plus car and RV loan.
Ooh. Ooh. Getting closer to that $500K mark!

Yup, it's been paid off. I did the math, i had 9 years of perfect payments (CC opened in 2004 and i used them up until 2011, then stopped using the card and got a car loan) with them up until my first late on the car loan

Chase no longer prequalify for CSR. You will need to cold app in branch. Chase sometimes pull 2 bureaus. I don't know if they will offer the 100K in the future, the promo online ended and in branch will end soon. You can do a lot with 100K UR, for me it is worth the HP(s).

I don't have much credit history as the rest of the members on the forum, but I woudl say that your history looks solid enough to at least give it a shot. I myself am applying for the CSR next month as the 100k UR points are definitely worth the risk.

Since you have not defaulted with any of your previous accounts with Chase... I would say you have a shot. One thing I would ask... are you at or above 5/24?
