So I've been trying to put together some needed eletronics (Spare computer system) and the total may be around $3500.
Now I've had a Prime account & card for at least a year now ($1k SL), admittedly I still have a $700 balance so far...but they're offering 12 month 0% financing so I'd thought I'd take a chanc on requesting a CLI anyways. I have not requested a CLI before with them at all until now.
But, want to know if they'll do it as a HP or SP. If HP, honestly, i'd probably just try to apply for the Visacard version and take a chance I'd get that much.
But if its a SP, will my score/aaoa and having a current balance count against me?
As of today its TU/EQ/EX 631/608/628,
1 collection (should be off now PFD LVNV).

@comebackkid15, If it is Synchrony and not Chase , it is a "SP"
Good Luck!

Synchrony cli requests are usually sp, Chase Visa are always hp. With your current score and balance i would be wary keeping a high balance for long even on o 0% apr promo as Synchrony has been looking to close accounts even those in good standing. Just keep that in mind when dealing with Synchrony.
I requested a CLI last month and it was SP. My 3rd statement cut, then I requested 3x and was approved. When approved I think my utilization was ~20% on my prime store card, and overall utilization was ~2%.
Since it's likely a SP, you might want to try. Good luck!
Welp, I went through what I thought I needed from Amazon (about $3k, give or take) and thought I'd try to hit the Luv button in spite of everything...and REALLY hoping it'll be a SP, LOL.
Anyway, had to mosey over to my Amazon Prime/Syncrony page to dive in.
Asked for $5k...yeah it was more than I needed, but I figured they might at least counteroffer, even if it was just another $1k.
Nope. Got the 7-10 message; I figure it *might* be about my UTI and derog (can't WAIT for that to be gone!) but its stinks because I could really use this stuff now.
Might recon, but not sure if that's likely. Will update later and see if I'm the first in the pool.
FYI: Synchrony is not known for recon. Computer overrides most everything.
