Such a joke! I applied for this card, got the 7-10 day thing, received a letter to call as they wanted to confirm my info. Well... I called them, got approved for $,9500 and got a welcome email the next day asking me to register and that my card was on its way. I called them to confirm my APR and was told the account was closed with no real justtified reason other than saying the system did not feel comfortable extending credit to me when the system itself approved the card! As insult to injury, I got this damn card today with my welcome packet and other stuff. I am so at a loss as I have never heard of a credit card company do this. I spoke with customer relations and they said they would have an account manager look into this but I doubt very much they will do anything. So what do I do with this damn thing, My credit score is between 680 and 705 so not sure why they would say I am not credit worthy when they themselves approved me for this limit. I never asked for this amount. I was expecting at the most 5k as that is was my recent cards have been. Needless to say, I am still in a state of confusion with this especially now that I am staring at the cards and can still get into the online system showing a $9,500 credit limit and 0 available....
Another update. Just for the heck of it I decided to see if the card would activate online and it did but the CL still hasn't changed so I guess their peeps haven't given me into their club. I have never been treated this way by a creditor where they approve a card and next day they send and close it. Has anyone ever experienced such a issue and my score varies between 680 and 705 right now depending on the site but still is pretty decent comparing to others that have been approve for a TR visa. Oh well I am content with my 4,000 Discover, 4,500 chase, $ 2,000 Amex, and $2,900 NASA FCU Star Trek card.....

I have created your own thread for this problem, I changed the title and left everything else intact.

Total Rewards... Something spooked then it sounds like.. Although comenity can be a weird lender overall.. Haven't had an issue with mine although others have had issues with comenity.
