just out of curiously have you thought of making your secured with cap1 unsecured? that'll be a nice start. then ask for a cli. it's a soft pull.
(depending how long you had it, though)

treat your credit like a business and like with any other business you should expand on what you already have. grow a deeper relationship. then move to other businesses

I think Cap 1 never graduates their secured cards, but they will give you an unsecured card if you maintain good history.  Thanks for the advice.
