TLDR:

New to credit, no history at all until Mid Jan 2019.

Moved to the US from overseas, so it’s not easy to become an AU to build history since I don’t have family here.

Income: $70k/year.

No FICO scores.

CK shows my TU and EQ as 706. Chase shows my TU as 709.

First card: Discover It, $500 SL, approved Mid Jan 2019.

Second card: CFU, $1700 SL, approved Mid Feb 2019.

Utilization: Hovers around 1-5%

I travel domestically around twice a year and internationally once or twice a year (mainly to Asia). This could increase in the future. So I’d like to get the Freedom, CSP and maybe United Explorer (optimizing Chase 5/24).

When should I apply for each of those cards? Or should I be thinking of entirely different cards?

Congrats on the CF approval.  3200 is pretty good considering your lack of profile.

CSP would be a better option than delving into an airline specific card like UE simply because you can earn more points through CSP/CSR than the 2x only on airfare with the specific card.  With UR points and a CSP/R you can transfer them to the airline of your choice with the options Chase has partnerships with.

Disco - 1st increase they will allow is 90 days from account opening / 3 statements (optional)... If you see an auto CLI then the door has opened to request one and if you get a requested CLI with the slider then you should call them up and ask them for another one the same day aka Double Dip (DD) in case there's still more $ on the table after the online increase.

When you get a FICO w/ EXperian you should consider diversifying with Amex as they're solid in the travel game and for growth of your CL's as well using the 3X CLI methods.

Thank you @Obscure-Expert! I did get a CLI on my Discover it which took me from $500 to $1000 by hitting the luv button last month. I didn't call in for a DD because I thought DD'ing was only possible if you had an auto-cli?

Nope, Auto is just auto but should prompt you to go hit the button and if approved to call them for even more.
