Congrats on the approval!

The 5/24 rule doesn't apply to all new accounts. I was instantly approved for the CSP a few weeks ago, and I had well over 5 new accounts in the past 24 months, including credit cards, mortgages, car loans etc. But I only had three new credit cards in the past 24 months at the time of my app.

Apparently new credit accounts such as mortgages and car loans don't count. Only new credit CARDS are factored into the 5/24 rule.

You can call 1-800-436-7927 for automated application status and it'll let you know your credit limit and APR
