Question/Anyone have USBank Multiple Apps-1 Inq

Anyone successfully apply for more than one us Bank app and have only 1 inq? Reason I ask is I know it is supposed to be the CRAs that merge the INQs.... but last time I did this back before I had any accounts with them, and bad credit... they didn't merge. I did them about 30 min apart.

Do you think I just didn't do them fast enough together or do you think USBank codes them different or something?

I am thinking of going for the Altitude card and if I do I would apply for the 1.5% cash back Amex as well-if I knew the INQs would merge. I'm
Hesitant because as I said the last time they didn't. This was about 2 years ago tho.

So just wondering if anyone had them merge? If I do it maybe this time I'll do them back to back and see if that helps.

Thanks

Re: Question/Anyone have USBank Multiple Apps-1 Inq

For me they didn't merge. One difference though was that I first app'd for the Reserve LOC, then for the Carlson credit card. The apps were just a few minutes apart, and both on TU. One other difference that may have kept it from working is the address of the inquirer, one says:

4325 17TH AVE SW MAILSTOP: FG-ND-S1

the other says

4325 17TH AVE SW FGNDS1A1

I guess it's kind of a YMMV experience :\

Good luck on the Altitude! I'm going to wait until this last late payment drops from TU before I apply. My scores jumped 30 points when it came off EX and EQ last month, so I'm hoping for a similar bump. I think it'll give me a better shot than the $2k they offered me on the Carlson card Smiley Wink

Thanks for the data point. Congrats on getting the late removed!
