Question for those of us that work in retail..

Just curious, for those of us that work in retail, as I do...
What is the most popular credit card product that you see being used for payment on a daily basis? I realize that this will vary geographically as well...

As far as I am concerned, I see more Chase Freedom cards than anything else here in Central Fl.
NFCU $60.4k/PenFed $22.5k/Commerce $15K/53 $11K/Synovus $14K/BBT $11K/CapOne $12K/DCU $7.5K/BMO $7.5K/Chase $14.5k/Cabelas $10K/ and many many more!
Total CL $398600, plus car and RV loan.
Ooh. Ooh. Getting closer to that $500K mark!

Re: Question for those of us that work in retail..

I see dozens of cards a day and I would have to say Chase has a majority of the market here in Chicago. Southwest Visa being the most popular (why I don't know lol). Amex would be in the running for second place

Re: Question for those of us that work in retail..

For personal cards, I see Capital One Quicksilvers and Wells Fargo Visas multiple times per day. Chase Freedom is a rarity.

However, the majority of credit cards I process are business cards. Everybody has a Chase Ink card.

Amex BCE $10,000 | BofA Power Rewards WMC $10,000 | Discover It $10,000 | ICBC Preferred Gold UnionPay $8,000 | Local CU Visa $3,500

I see a lot of visa debit cards and a lot of people trying to explain their debit card is a credit card.
