if you get a special offer in the mail to apply for credit card, with a special code and reservation number is that like a preapproval? It's a Dodge maximum rewards MasterCard from first national bank? Anyone has experience with this company or Dodge Mastercard. I just bought a 2015 Durango if that helps
Like most things, its not a guarantee. If its FNBO, I've heard that they are very conservative. Congrats on the 2015 Durango, however.

No the reservation number and special code is just a marketing ploy. Does not mean a preapproval

Congrats on the wheels! FNBO is great. I don't find them to be as conservative as most claim. Their CLIs are by SP. If you feel comfortable, then respond to the app. When I responded, I didn't feel comfortable, but responded. They approved, and I've been happy with them.
Thanks Soggie, what were your score at the time and which CRA did they pull?

If you take FNBO out of the equation, what do you want to do next? You have enough tradelines to get your score up. Then what? I haven't really identified a specific score, just want to clean up my reports which I've almost accomplished. There are some cards I would like to have, but don't necessary have to have them. My portfolio is okay right now. Your score look good almost 6 months post bk.
I got a pre-approval from Sheetz gas stations who were FNBO. They shot me down back in April when I used the pre-approval and the little confirmation numbers. Too many INQ and too many new cards. All I wanted was their gas card! Sheesh. I can tell you for sure they're conservative.

Thanks for the info, I'll keep that in mind
