Quicksilver CLI denied

Tried to do a CLI on the site a couple of days ago and was told it was under review. Got the denied message today saying that: Recent usage of this account's existing credit line has been too low. Typically I only charge around 100 bucks a month on it. Wonder what the threshold is for them to increase my credit line.

I'm guessing that they want to see you spend a lot on the card

Cap one loves heavy usage, id say $500 a month should be enough for them to give you a cli

What's the CL right now? If your at let say 8000 and your only using 100 of course they won't give you a CLI they see it as you don't need it. For me I was at 500 CL for QS1 and platinum. After first statement cut I got increase to 3000 and 2000 and now even after heavy use of maxing it out and paying it off twice I still couldn't get a CLI. It says account recently got increased

Clearly they want to see some more usage. Show it plenty of love for the next few months and try again.

Thanks all. I have an $11,000 credit line on it. This card is like my personal account that I use to spend on stuff that I want, all my other cards get more usage as those are the shared expenses that I have with my wife. Guess I need to spend more on myself!

I just got turned down for a CLI too. I don't know the reason yet as I have yet to receive anything, but I do use my card a lot. I know I am in the credit steps program so maybe they just want me to wait. I know they gave me an increase on my QS1 after the 2nd statement and I was hoping they would do the same with the QS.
