Browse credit cards from a variety of issuers to see if there's a better card for you.
So my profile consists of the following:
Wells Fargo Secured - $1000 (October 2014)
October 2015:
Capital One Platinum - $500
Discover Chrome -$500
VS- $150
March 2016:
Home Depot $2500
Wayfair $750
Prequal site is showing Cap one quicksilver one. My scores are 631 EX, 631 TU, and 670 EQ. I have an unpaid judgement from 2010. 4 inq on TU, 8 inqs on Ex, and 25 on EQ due to auto loan apps during rebuild. I have asked for several CLIs from Capital One but all have been denied. The platinum card was just increased from $300 to $500 during credit steps program. I just recently apped for Wayfair and Home Depot. Both gave me higher limits than capital one. If my credit scores are about 100 POINTS higher than they were when I apped for platinum card, will Cap1 still only give me a $300 or $500 SL since I burned them in the past or will they potentially offer something higher? I paid off the charge off back in September. I don't want to waste 3 hard pulls for a $300/$500 SL. Anyone have any thoughts or insights on this?
I want a card that I can have a decent enough credit line to place my monthly spend on...I usually spend about 3-4K and I make about 120,347per year.
Anyone have any thoughts or insights on this?
It's really hard to guess what your SL would be. The only way to really know is to app for it.
