I assume you had a 720+ TU score when you app'd with RBFCU for to get their 7.7% rate on the Premier Rate MC?

I talked with the Business Service Manager at RBFCU last week and he told me it doesn't matter if you apply and get one or two credit cards because you only get internally with them one total credit limit. So if you have two cards with RBFCU eventually merge them into one.
