ROBO LADY: "In Order To See if You Qualify for a CLI" message

Thankfully i only have two Comenity accounts, not including my PPC ACCOUNT, but to me , its just not worth using an hp to increase these 2 accounts. Apart from utilization buffer, these will probably be 1st 2 to get let go when i start my reduction. In the end, as Humu has mentioned, even though we can get accustomed to getting endless cli, sp, from them, we should always remember when requesting credit, hp is the normal result so always have that in mind and if the hp scares you or is unwanted, let sleeping dogs lie. In the ever changing world of credit it could be conceivable that Comenity no longer wants to be someones buffer but actually used.

i get same msg when requesting cli from BonTon, all 3 credit reports on ice so no hp.i even unfreeze all 3 reports and  still no hp for last 2 months.like the other user said they might do that to scary ppl.I only get this msg on bonton card not the other ones, still no hp always sp and always getting those CLI.

I took a chance and inquired via secured message to both WE and PB.  

I was advised it would be a SP, so I gave my authorization - specifically noting that it is given ONLY if I would get a SP.  

I furthuer clarified  that if it would result in a HP, I did NOT want them to pull my credit.

I ended up with a HP for both - on EX only.  

I made the request knowing I might end up with this result.  I only had 3 inquires (over a year old) and 1 recent and won't be applying for anything for another 4 months +, so even tho I was disappointed with the misinformation (and the fact they wouldn't change INQ from HP to SP, even with written proof of their mistake) I feel ok - or dare I say good 😊 - about the increase of $800 on each card.

Hope this is useful info for anyone getting this same Robo Message and wondering what it means and what the outcome will likely be.

Again i get same msg only on BonTon,not other ones like jcrew,pb,cb ect. still no HP on any bureau.I have them all 3 unfrozen for 2 months .sp only here.and always getting those CLI.

Yes, I did the phone auto CLI, and got this message for the first ever, and I went thru with it (i was frozen btw), and I got my CLI. I think they are throwing it in now because word got back to them of the robo lady CLI thingy, and maybe throwing that in the auto lady will get some folks to not continue. I didnt care, and did it anyways.
