Re-ap Navy Federal Credit Union Chances?

  1. Hi,

I was a previous Navy Federal cashRewards card member of which was closed due to falling behind.

If I paid off my previous card, improved my scores and had all collections removed from my CR, is there a good chance they will give another cashRewards?

    Scores:
    Ex: 558
    Tu: 563
    Eq: 563

If your scores listed are current, I'd say pass until your at least low 600's. No telling if your past will be held against you, but your scores will more than likely hold you back at this point.

Hi, ate you still a member. Did you burn them or did they just close your card?. I dont have Navy but from what ive read here so far points to them being great but not so much if you burn them as id imagine they have long memory. I believe more details needed so the other Navyfed members can help . Thanks best of luckSmiley Happy

They'll definitely require the previous debt to be repaid.  Others have run into that.

Is your membership/savings account still open/active with them?

They're generally lenient with a rebuilders profile if you have income and low current debt.
