Request CI Before Closing

I know some requests to increase a credit limit are considered soft pulls but does that still have an effect on closing on a home? I will most likely go to closing mid September and wanted to increase my credit line on two accounts. Both cards are paid in full monthly.

As long as the CLIs as SP's it should not have any impacts on your closing.  Which lenders did you have in mind for the CLIs?

Hi and welcome

If CLI request is soft pull, it wont have any effect. Do make sure that it's SP because you really do not want HP that close to closing

Congrats on your future new home

Thank you! They for sure SPs. It’s mentioned in the verbiage where complete the request and I confirmed with a customer service rep.
