Review of Application???

Just curious if any of you have applied for a credit card and not really get a decline or an approval but instead get a message saying we will review your application and notify you in 1-7 days with a decision?? In the past I would take this as an automatic decline. Anyone ever actually get an approval?

I got that for the US Bank Cash+ card. Approved after a couple days.

I got that for the Apple Card and got approved a few minutes later.

I got a app under review minus the 1-7 day on my dc power card, tge card just showed up in the e mail a week later.

I got that with Citi for the DC. My SO has a card with them, on  which I'm an AU. His account had his phone number, and they thought it was fraud. Got a letter exactly 7days later asking me to call. Turns out they wanted me to call from his phone😁. I did and was instantly approved.

Just got that from Apple Card. Probably an APO address issue. Not worried about a denial, just a waiting game now.

@TattnallTrio , congrats on your Target approval, I was wondering, when you applied, did you have a fraud alert on? I just applied and got the 7-10 business days and I was just trying to get an idea of my chances for approval from different responses on MyFico, I don't have a fraud alert on so I didn't know if I'm still in the running or not. Thanks!
