I will be gardening until my ch7 falls off. Filed on 7/2010, discharged 10/2010. I will be asking for early removal around 6/2020.
I want to do the following BEFORE May 15th 2018 only because i want to have 0 inquiries when 6/2020 comes.
Current Cards
Uber Visa - Take a HP for a CLI - Not sure if i can use same HP for a CLI on my Arrival?
PenFed - Take a HP for a CLI on the 1st card, use same HP for a CLI on 2nd card. If possible, would like to use same HP for a loan. Currently have a loan at 10.5%, would like a 7% the least.
NavyFed - Apply for my 2nd card
Citi Costco Visa - Take a HP for a CLI (been getting denied with SPs) burned them in ch7 for around $3k. Use same HP for a new card??
Home Depot CC - Take a HP or a CLI
New Applications
Apply for DSW Visa (comenity) - Hoping to get the Visa, if i don't, i will close, i need the VISA not the store
Apply for Citi Double Cash - No offers on their website, will need to cold apply.
Apply for AMEX EDP - Need to find the 30k MRs offer or a referral link?
Will this take a big hit on my scores?
Did i miss anything?
Your advice is greatly appreciated!

You'll take a hit in some form or another. To what extent would depend on your overall CR profiles. It'll recover with time as you well know. Correct! Nothing bad on my reports except ch7...nada
Please see another poster about the triple HP on their current Barclays CC. While that's typically not the norm, be prepared. If a 2nd HP would be required for a CLI on my 2nd CC, i would not do it.
Yes, you can use the CLI HP for a new product but if it were me, I'd leverage the HP for a new app for any existing Barclays CLI. Nice!
With regard to Citi COSTCO, HP for a CLI does not get reused for a new application. Knowing Citi sensitivity on Ch7, should i even bohter for a CLI or new app?
For Comenity, it's going to be a roll of the dice. No method to say for sure which one you'd qualify for. There's 3 versions, store CC, Visa Platinum or Visa Signature. Wonder if i can call and request the Visa if i'm offered the store.

For Citi, just be strategic on the long term, would you rather go for DC or risk the CLI outcome? I just want to eventually get more of their products such as travel cards. Don't really need the CLI. I only have the Costco because it was transfered from the AMEX Costco.
If you are trying to optimize things for 2020, then if you incur 2 HPs then both would fall off around that timeframe, right? Correct!
Sorry, Comenity doesn't work that way. If you get the store version, you will not be given the option to "choose" on the spot. If you qualify for their Visa Platinum, then kiss the ring and call it a day even if the CL is 1K, for instance 😁 I know lol, is just that with the Visa, i can accumulate points faster by spending on bills and suchs. Dont want to spend money on shoes to collect points for shoes lol.
I am confused. Your signature shows you have 23 current credit cards, yet you want to apply for a whole bunch of new cards? Why?

Applying for the CCs listed will put me at my goal of cards i want and will actually use. Each card serves me a purpose and do use them all.
To each their own no?
Edit: and it is 21 cards lol not 23

I'm assuming the OP wants to restrategize their CC portfolio before 2020? Or, perhaps wants to see what it feels like having 100+ accounts like mine? 😇😁
Correct!!
I want 0 inquiries and no ch7 by the time i reach 6/2020. I will decide then whichi to close as right now i'm using each for its purpose.
