The rewards gain from new card with the number you already have would be extremely small, have you checked you numbers in a calculator or spreadsheet?. I also do not understand the hurry. Won't there be CC's offered in the future, maybe even better ones.?

I don't get why you're so concerned about setting things up for 2020, your score will jump so much from the BK dropping off your CR you will be in great shape if you had a dozen inquiries.
I know, just wanted to know if i missed anything or if i have have to take anything else into consideration for my plan ![]()
Don't worry about the inquiries, they don't matter in most cases. Outside of FICO, utilization, and income, I would be more conscious of the number of new accounts relative to time which in your scenario sounds fine.
Well, i went for it:
1. AMEX EDP Approved for $1.3k with 20k bonus after spending $1k (SP)
2. City DC Approved fro $7.9k (have not seen the HP)
3. Navy went to review (HP)

Yes, there will be. My point is that after these cards, i will not have a need to apply for ANY card in the future. The goal here is to get the cards i need now and have 0 inquiries comes 6/2020.
"......Apply for DSW Visa (comenity) - Hoping to get the Visa, if i don't, i will close, i need the VISA not the store"
I see possible problems with this step. Comenity has been known to approve applicationns and then close the account before you ever activate the card for either too many inquiries / new accounts. You might want to rethink this one
I applied and got denied anyways.
As for an update on the Navy More rewards, I just got the text for approvl. Not sure about the CL.
Any reason given for the denial? Did you cold app DSW? Im planning a 3 card mini spree soon and I might include a Comenity card in the mix
Just got the email from NFCU, $15 CL.
No reason on why the DSW denial. Message said to wait 2 to 3 weeks for mail notification.
