SCT Question

Just to be clear..If you perform a SCT and they ask for your FULL ss#, that means it will result in a HP..correct?

Re: SCT Question

It doesn't matter which they ask for. They'll HP if that's what they're currently doing.

Re: SCT Question

As mentioned above, I would expect a HP.  If it ends up being a SP, then great.  It also can depend on the CC you're applying for.  Most of the retail SCT variety can be SP, but not always.

Also, if you're applying for any of their V/MC CCs, be sure SageStream is not frozen.

Re: SCT Question

Thanks for the info...

It was for an Overstock card. I'll just ignore the preapproval. Not interested in a HP on a card I won't use that often.

Re: SCT Question

I got an Overstock card via SCT a few weeks ago. They did ask for full SSN, but it was a SP.

Of course idk if it'll be the same for you, but just wanted to share that full SSN doesn't automatically equal HP. This is my 3rd Comenity card via SCT, always a SP.

Re: SCT Question

I recently did a SCT with Sportsman's Guide VISA issued by Comenity.

Asked for last 4 digits, SP and $7500 SL.

It's my second Comenity account (after the defunct Virgin Airways card)....
