SCT help

So I was doing the SCT for Brylane Home. During checkout the pop up came up and I applied and got approved for $500 SL. Problem is, this was while I was checking out, so I didn't have an account created yet, and I had an issue with my browser so I had to reload. I created an account with the same information I entered during checkout but it says nothing about the card or $500 line. In fact, it gives me an option to apply for the card. Am I screwed? Should I wait until tomorrow and call them to see if it ended up not going through?

Congrats on approval, they update their system @ midnight (Ohio)you can call after that and they should have u acc.

Even though I hadn't registered an account on their site before applying? I just was worried it didn't go through properly.

call after midnight the card  phone number enter u nfo they should be able to find u acc under u last 4 of u ssn or under u phone .

I am beginning to believe that the SCT is just a myth. I have tried MULTIPLE times at MULTIPLE websites over several months and have never gotten ANY of the websites to pop-up an instant approval. How did you get it to pop up for you?

With this one, I used one of the other names reported on my credit report (just my shortened first name), as well as not creating an account prior (doing guest checkout). Not really sure if either made a difference though, as I have gotten it to work with a few others (unfortunately not with the 2 I want...Overstock and Wayfair).

Bit of an update: Called and gave them my SSN and they said they couldn't find anything on file (they said it may not have updated in their system yet). Went on to chat through their website and was told they see the account with the correct CL and that I would get my card within 10 days. Guess we will see.

Not quite three years ago, I was successful with the SCT. My first one was the Sportsmans Guilde Visa. No HP and a SCL of $9K (my highest at the time). I did the register my name and email and places several items in the cart prior. Went to check out and there was the pop up! Did it a few more times. Mostly to increase my credit and get accounts posting as current.

Make sure you have opted in, cleared browsers, use pc instead of phone, although VS worked for me on a phone. Wish you well.

For BEST results, use the name and address as it appears on your EQ file. You can get this by setting up or going to your CreditKarma account. Make sure your name and address match EXACTLY to your SCT order.  Good luck

Also, having fraud alerts or a frozen EQ and EX files severly hamper your SCT success

Make sure you are opted-in to receive credit invitations

Something like that happened to me with Pottery Barn. They said they couldn't give me the card number over the phone but if I went into the store they could give me the number.  And that is what I did.
