If you app enough, your score drops like a rock. I lost almost a ton of FICO points from 40 new apps (went from 695 to 613).
I was denied credit everywhere...Fingerhut probably would have denied me at that point. Everything was back to normal after 6 months though.
It's true that FICO scores have no memory....my score rebounded and gained like crazy to 781 now after it was just 613 only 9 months ago.
Nothing heals your app sprees like time in the garden.
