My girlfriend recently applied for the Apple Card but was denied on the basis of debt to income. This was super strange to me as her income is around 30k but has $0 worth of debt(?). Is this just a Goldman Sachs glitch or is there something I'm missing?
Does she have any other credit history? Cards? Student loans?
Was there any other reason codes given?

No they're all $0
That's really weird then. Might want to pull up her reports and make sure there's no funny business going on.

Had her pull all 3 reports and she said nothing seemed odd/off. Guess GS just didn't like her.
Guess so. Does she have any student loans or auto loans or any type of loans?

No loans at all.
The only other thing I can think of is that perhaps she missed a zero when typing in her income? Maybe she typed $3000 instead of $30000.
