SP CLI Chase, SAMS etc.

Looking to increase my TCL on a few cards after seeing some limits here, I'm curious how I can increase mine.

Dicover IT $11,800

Capital One Venture $6,500

Chase Freedom $8,300

Sam's Club $10,000

Best Buy Citi $10,000

Of the above mentioned, CLI requests with Chase and Citi/Best Buy will be HP -- just FYI.  The others will be SP.

Sometimes Google, FB groups, YouTube can provide lots of misinformation.

That said, these forums have a wealth of datapoints and reported experiences.  Sam's Club will be SP.  Since your current limiti appears to be in the $10K range, it is best to contact the Credit Solutions folks to request a CLI. If you submit it through the app/online or via the automated phone system, it may not go through or provide the desired results.

Discover is SP, and you have to put spend on the card and just request a cli. Capital One...good luck, not sure if anyone has cracked the code for manual CLI's but it is SP. The rest, not too sure.

I went ahead with the online for $15k request and got a counter for $4,500 increase to $14,500 from $10,000. Thank you everyone.

Went to check my myfico dashboard and my Transunion dropped [-7] to 834 on the 9th, reason for the drop was my balance decrease from $24 to $17 on my paypal credit lol.

Glad to hear it worked out for you.  Did you try Discover and/or Capital One?  Those are also SP.

Absolutely.  My Sam's Club MC is currently $15K which is sufficient for my needs.  There's other members who have >$20K and other folks with Amazon Prime (store card) with limits in the ~$20K range as well.

Typically, to obtain better results (fresher SP) on limits >$10K, one can reach out to the Credit Solutions folks.  Though, I would definitely proceed with caution if requesting too many (or any unnecessary) CLIs as SYNCB has been known to be really twitchy lately.

Tell me about it. Got denied for the Walgreens preapproval. I thought Synchrony loved me Smiley Sad

Good luck again OP
