Good Evening all. I have a question about CLI requests with the Sams MC/Synch. Is there any difference between calling the overseas number, Online chat and just hitting the luv button? Do you think you get better results with one over the others? I ask because I just called the overseas number and they wanted to message me a code to recite back, but they were having issues and my number came up as a Voip for some reason (it is a Verizon cell phone) and I don't have any other phone numbers (this has not been an issue with any of their other cards, I have a couple store cards and the Marvel MC as well). They are snail mailing me the code in the mean time and they gave me a direct number to call back when I get it. He told me it will take 5-8 days. I am thinking about jumping on the online chat instead of waiting. Thoughts?

In the past there was a marked difference between Credit Solutions and chat/button, but these days it's not as clear (many people seem to be doing well with the button now that you can enter the amount you want).
That said, if it were me I would probably be patient and allow the process you've already initiated to play out. I suspect that the decision has already been made, and all that is left is for you to confirm your identity with the code. It would be a shame to mess that up.
Just my 2¢.

Thank you Uncle, that makes a lot of sense. I will wait.

My experience has been that once you reach a certain limit using the luv button or even chat, you have to call CS for further consideration.
For instance, my PayPal 2% was approved with a $10K SL. I hit the luv button several times over a 6 month period and got denied every time. At first, the denial letters said, “insufficient experience at current limit.” Then it switched to “amount requested exceeds what our policy allows” or something like that. Finally, I reached a point where they said, “too many requests for credit limit increase.” That was a sign telling me to stop hitting the **bleep** button, but I decided to call CS. Rep asked how much I wanted, I said “25k to 30k.” He responded, “I need a specific number.” I chickened out and said $25k. He put me on hold for a few seconds and came back with an approval for the $25k. That was about 6 months ago, and I just got declined again for a CLI to $30k. I’m not sure if I’m going to call yet.
I went through something similar with my Lowe’s card until I called to ask for $35k.
Amazon stopped growing at $10k a while back, but I don’t need more so I’ve left that one alone.
Yeah my Walmart & Amazon are both at $10,000 and both give me the "exceeds policy" verbiage..
I haven't bothered to call, I really don't need them any higher.
"Limit" on my TJMaxx MC and Paypal MC via online chat is max $10,000
Chatted with CS and now my TJMaxx card is $13,000 and my PP card is $14,500. Rep kept trying to give me more but I dont need more
