Re: Score needed for chase and Citi bank

Welcome to the forum

Depending on what card from Chase you want will determine your results

With 7 accounts in the last year CSP, Freedom (2) and Slate are out due to 5/24 rule

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

What is mean Csp ? = Chase Sapphire preffered
And what mean 5/24 rule ? = 5 accounts in 24 months will get you denied for the 4 cards I listed
Thx

However co-branded cards like airline, hotel etc etc currently do not fall under the 5/24 rule and are possible to obtain with over 5 accounts in 24 months

Re: Score needed for chase and Citi bank

How old are your Capital One cards and your 3 Amex cards?

CSP stands for Chase Sapphire Preferred

The 5/24 rule means that Chase doesn't like to approve people (for their regular cards) if the person has opened more than 5 accounts in the past 24 months. This is why I asked how old your cards are.

Re: Score needed for chase and Citi bank

I was approved for Hyatt and SW for a combined 21.5K with a 731 EX Fico8, and I have one in " verification review" and 2 week message. maybe if your internal score with them is strong they'd give you a card Smiley Happy! Also I've noticed Chase aren't scared of Inq.. I have a ton Smiley Sad!
