Was wondering on applying for Discover for students but wanted to see what is the average score to be approved

Loaded question... People can get approved with an EQ of around 630 and some people with EQ well into the 700's get declined. Discover is one hard lender for anyone to figure out. They look at your whole credit report and just not scores and to be honest no one really know what they seek for other than a fairly clean report although people a year out of BK7 get approved with them, so who knows. Just don't have recent collections/ca's and or lates in the last several years and the older if so the better chances. It is a gamble applying with them either way unless your report is clean and scores are well into the 700's for best approval chances
Looks like I am out than lol hahaha... all my bad stuff is paid and just sitting to age off now and my lates are from like 2-6 years ago.

Could possibly consider applying for a Discover Secured that unsecures in time. Would this work for you?
