Agent, Plan B in action.
Faxed my lease document and Driver's License with App ref # written on it. How much time do you think it would take for them to update it to my application folder? When can I call them to get my status?
I haven't applied to Amex yet. But I'll definitely apply to it as soon as I know what is happening with my Chase card, whatever it may be denial or approved.

Call them tomorrow see if they received it and if they can see it clearly - Fax didn't come out too dark.. From there, it will be 2 weeks maximum. I am keeping fingers crossed for you for all you are doing and have to go through for this card.

I called up today to # 8882xxx127 to check if they got my docs. Same guy picked up as yesterday and said it would take 2 weeks to udpated my fax details on their file. I don't like this guy, he says all official stuff which we all knew, as "Sir you have to wait 2 weeks, you have to giv us enough time to pick your faxed docs and update on your app. And 2 weeks to give decision.. bla blah". I was patiently trying to explain my situation about typos in docs and he interrupts n says same words. Christ!
I got one more number 888xxx0625 from backdoor sitcky. I'll call them after lunch. Do you think it is fine to make repeated calls on single day? i think they track each call right.

Yes, it is.. Be polite but firm and asked why is taking so long when you have done everything possible requested to expediate the process. I know it is frustrating but hang in there - Keep me posted on updates..
Oh Man! finallyyy... 
It took me 4 weeks to get these documents to Chase guys and get the approval. I was confident that I'll get the card, I wasn't even thinking about it. All I wanted is to show that I have valid docs, which they could verify or do whatever they want to check my credibility.
It is tiring process man, I tell you, I called them once in every 2 days from past 3 weeks to check if they have received the docs or not. All they have is a standard answer - "Please sir, it'll take us 2 weeks to update your docs in our system, you might want to call us next week to check it." 
I know it takes time, but this is too long. But still I used to call them again and again. Even at a point I hit up the same guy who I talked with the previous day. He remembered me and laughed! I laughed too, and said it's me again, all I wanted is to check my docs.
Well anyways, I called them today morning again to check if they have received my docs, I was ready to hear the same old answers "No sir, blah blah". But thank god! they said docs are updated. They kept me on hold for brief period to check the docs and returned with positive news. Approved!! with limit 10k. 
This is huge for me considering my earlier limit of Discover IT card - 3250.

After all this wait, an approval for 10k? Massive limit and congrats. Patience sometimes is good. Now drinks are on you. I only drink ice tea... Do you think you can afford that with your new Freedom when we celebrate?
