I got the same response when I applied for PRG and then a few minutes later for the BCP. PRG was instant approval but the BCP I had to call in and answer security questions. I think this is very normal and you will most likely be approved.

What ever happened with this? I'm in the 5 day limbo myself.
Me too! I just found this out as well! I apped for the EDP on 4/14- approved. I went for this because upon visiting the offers page, I pulled up a 30,000 sign up offer (up form the regular 15,000). Originally I was going for the Surpass (100,000 offer until 5/4). Got a message about them wanting me to call in. Called in, and they said my application will be on hold for 5 days and will automatically process the 19th. Let me tell you, I will be calling BRIGHT AND EARLY that day!

Just updating for data point. I called today and they processed my app and it was declined. I'm hoping it's not two inquiries, but I will update.
Oh no- What was the reason for the decline? I am nervous now. I received the EDP approval and so did my husband, added me as an AU to his account. In the meantime, I incurred 2 more pulls from B of A (CLI) and Chase. Nothing else has changed but I have those additional HPs.
My day #5 is tomorrow- now I am really nervous! This is my last outstanding app on the recent spree.
Right now I'm at EQ 711 TU 752 EX 724 UTL 16% AAoA like 4 years, but now on EX I probably have 10 INQS. When I initially called, they told me the second app would result in an additional HP.
Last week I applied for the SimplyCash Plus Business card and was approved. Since they tend to reuse the same credit pull for same day apps I put in for the BCE on the personal card side and got the "in progress" hold message. I called today to check the status and the new accounts rep said it had to wait 24 hours more before they processed it. He then said when it completes he'll upgrade the shipping of the card. This leads me to believe the app is approved they're just instituting a forced hold.

I honestly didn't ask, but I think you will be fine. Your scores are a lot higher than mine. Def come back and update though. .

I will definately come back and update. I wish I could be sure, but I am also hot off the Chase and Barclay smackdown train. I had some good approvals, but got declined from those two. Chase I am convinced I'll never get in with. Barclay I was so mad about, that I had my husband apply for the same card (Arrival +) and get approved just so I would feel vindicated in some way.
