one of my biggest mistakes was doing the store card trick, never again will i go for them. Comenity likes to reduce your credit limit just as much as they do raising it.

If you want that card, you might as well just go for it and apply. The SCT, if it does pop up, will be a hard pull. Comenity SCT, have been HP's since about October.
