I don't actually have a real problem. Chexsystems has me mixed up with somebody who bounced a check in Brazil or something like that.
Just haven't had the time to get it resolved.
It has stopped me from getting into I think 2 credit unions but I've been able to get into 8 other credit unions so far so not an urgent problem to fix.
The credit unions have denied me because of Chexsystems, but AMEX, Citi, BofA, Chase, WF never even mentioned it when they gave me credit cards.

Good luck with getting score over 720 with store cards, never happens (google that and why).
They are bucketed between consumer finance and credit cards. I never said they were consumer finance loans.
you must feel the need to defend your position, following credit addict?
LoL
I now have ~65 "store cards".
The sky hasn't fallen, Armageddon has not come, but perhaps Ragnarok is still on its way.
Google can sometimes be wrong, really.
Truthfully I don't know the algorithm that FICO uses, and not many do. I can't tell you whether an abundance of small store cards hurt or not. I really just don't know. All I know is how I handle the situation. I have 2 store cards, both have good limits, and I use them. They have great offers from time to time that I really can use. So that's how I deal with the situation. Everybody is different.
720 credit score is nothing to sneeze at. its pretty good.

I dont think it hurts your credit to have alot of store cards, I have about 15 store cards, and still got a chase Freedom, and a chase Slate, and a 20,000 car loan with no down payment, so I dont think it hurts.
