I just logged in here and right now my score is:
EQ:619
TU:605
EX:629
I'm not sure if it's worth it or what type of card I should try to apply for?
EX is high enough to get approved for a few cc's. Just stay away from anyone that pulls TU. Even a smaller SL would get your foot in the door. Did you try any of the pre-approval cc's?
What's a SL? How would I know which one pulls from what? That's the only thing.. I want to stay away from the sub prime cards the rates are poor or a high anual fee. I know I keep getting cap one pre-aproval offers in the mail and that credit One offer in the mail as well.
Your scores are good enough for Cap One cards, Have you tried going to Cap One's site and checking for prequalifed offers? If not go there now. SL means starting limit. Cap One pulls from all three CRA's. A google search of credit pull databases can tell you what cards pull from where and in what state. Do you currently have any cards?
I haven't gone to the site but I do have a SC wells fargo card with a $500 limit I've heard they really dont graduate the card? Also have a loan out with the CU in which my loan and co-signed for my mom for her loan so I guess it shows me as two loans?

Wells Fargo has the potential to graduate but the time line seems to vary alot from person to person. It's good that you have a loan out, that helps in the installment department of credit scoring. For maximum scoring you would need no more than three cards. Check out the Quicksilver one from Cap One, even if it doesn't show a pre qual offer I'd apply anyway. It's a good card that has a lot of potential to grow.
What about Discover?

Discover likes thin profiles. but I'm afraid your TU score may be a little low for them. If you want to take a HP to find out no harm no foul, I have seen stranger things happen with Discover.
I just dont wait to try for the Cap one and find I get like a $300 CL it would seem pretty pointless to try bothering to apply, no?
