Should I app?

I am expecting a score to generate any day now... possibly tomorrow or the 24th. I only plan to app for 2 or 3 cards. Amex PRG, SPG and Citi AA. Now since my primary accounts were opened in the beginning of February do you think they would deny me for too many new accounts? The oldest AU account is from sept then Nov, and 2 from December. I don't know if I should still plan to app for Citi now because I tried for a SP CLI on my TYP and it was denied for too many new accounts... Would amex have the same reaction if I apply for a card? I know they like thin files... All help is appreciated!

Re: Should I app?

It's hard to know if they'll deny for that or not. I know personally from all of the posts I see on here, I can't seem to figure out AMEX and what they base their approvals on. They seem all over the place. So if it were me, I'd take the safe route and not do it yet. But that's only my opinion. YMMV

There are many reasons they will probably deny your applications.

You should be gardening now and creating a good track record with the cards you already have.
