What do you guys think the likelyhood of BOA approving me of a Cash Rewards card considering they unsecured me?

hmm.....what I do not understand is that they cannot simply add the rewards to your unsecured card now.  Have you tried the prequal sites for other cards? Barclays, Chase, Citi  and if so what was the outcome...do you get any pre-qualified offer  for cards and which ones ? I like your loyality to BofA. This is what I did but if I had the choice today and had to start over  I would have gone much earlier to spread out to multiple lenders. It took me over 20 years to expand my BofA relation ship ..Smiley Sad .. Don't get me wrong I am perfectly happy with BofA but do not like to have all eggs in the same basket.

You should apply to amex. They have been liking thin files lately, and I'd you get it the credit line will grow with you.

Re: Should I try for an early Graduation with Bank of America

Alright guys I have great news. I applied for the BOA Better Balance Rewards and was approved for a $1k credit line!!!!!! When I originally submitted the app I wasn't immediately approved. I callled in to discuss the details of my application and was approved afterwards. All I can say is that I'm extremely happy. I now have two unsecured cards from BOA.

As far as being able to convert my card to the Cash Rewards upon graduation, multiple representatives at the bank told me that  it's no longer possible and quite a few things have been changed within the last year.

Yea!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh btw, I applied for the Better Balance Reward because it appears more appealing to me.
