Well I went to my local Chase branch and applied for the Southwest Rapid Rewards card. The banker did the application online for me and it came back with the let you know in 7-10 days so he made a call and turns out they wanted to pull exclusively from EQ and couldn't because i froze it. I told him i could unfreeze it in minutes so i called and did that. He then calls the credit dept and poof Im approved for it. Great I was so happy. Thanked him and went on my way. Well guess what? Today as my luck would have it I logged on to my credit reports and to my surprise not only was EQ pulled but also EX. Not sure if there is anything i can do to get it removed since they (the bank) told me they wanted to pull from EQ only. Any thoughts?

No, typically Chase pulls both. Some are lucky to have only EX but if the approval is on the fence or there is something Chase needs to see (consistency), they will request EX plus another bureau. You authorize Chase to access any of them when you apply.
The first cut is the deepest I guess, then they add a sharp twist to it
